World IP Day and Copyright Day Celebration In-Person / Online
Wits Libraries and the Wits Innovation Centre proudly celebrate the vital role of Intellectual Property (IP) rights in fostering a vibrant and diverse creative landscape. From music to art and literature, these rights protect the essence of what adds colour to our lives. Through this event, we aim to promote copyright awareness, emphasizing the importance of copyright in safeguarding musicians’ and authors’ rights as well as providing knowledge on best practices in academic activities.
